Audit and Assurance:

The purpose of an audit is to enhance the degree of confidence of intended users in the financial statements. This is achieved by the expression of an opinion by the auditor on whether the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with an applicable financial reporting framework. In the case of most general-purpose frameworks, that opinion is on whether the financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, or give a true and fair view in accordance with the framework. The auditor is required to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. A financial statement audit is the independent examination of the financial records of an entity by an independent auditor. Audited financial statements are used by shareholders, bankers, customers, oversight bodies, investors, and other stakeholders. We have an expert team of audit professionals to handle assignments and deliver top-tier compliance solutions across all industries.

Agreed-upon procedures:

An agreed-upon procedures engagement is one in which an auditor is contracted to carry out procedures of an audit nature, as agreed upon by the auditor, the entity, and any appropriate third parties, and to report on the factual findings. The recipients of the report form their own conclusions from the factual findings presented by the auditor. The report is restricted to those parties that have agreed to the procedures to be performed. Since the auditor simply provides a report on the factual findings of the agreed-upon procedures, no assurance is expressed. We have an expert team of professionals to handle agreed-upon procedures, catering to all lines of business.

IFRS reporting:

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are a set of accounting standards developed by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) that are becoming the global standard for the preparation of financial statements. Financial statements are prepared and presented for external users by many entities around the world. Although such financial statements may appear similar from country to country, there are differences that have been caused by a variety of social, economic, and legal circumstances, as different countries prioritize the needs of different financial statement users when setting national requirements. The International Accounting Standards Board is committed to narrowing these differences by seeking to harmonize regulations, accounting standards, and procedures relating to the preparation and presentation of financial statements. As independent auditors, we report on whether the financial statements comply with International Financial Reporting Standards. Furthermore, we provide specialized services in niche areas such as Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computations and lease accounting in connection with IFRS reporting.

Review of the financial statements:

A financial statement review is a service in which an accountant obtains limited assurance that there are no material misstatements. The objective of a financial statement review is to enable an accountant to state whether, on the basis of procedures that do not provide all the evidence required in an audit, anything has come to their attention that causes them to believe that the financial statements are not prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework. We provide professional financial statement review services performed in line with International Standards on Review Engagements (ISRE).

Compilation of the financial statements:

The objective of a compilation engagement is for the accountant to use accounting expertise, as opposed to auditing expertise, to collect, classify and summarize financial information. This ordinarily entails reducing detailed data to a manageable and understandable form without a requirement to test the assertions underlying that information. The procedures employed are not designed and do not enable the accountant to express any assurance on the financial information. However, users of the compiled financial information derive some benefit as a result of the accountant’s involvement because the same has been performed with professional competence and due care. A compilation engagement would ordinarily include the preparation of the financial statements (which may or may not be a complete set of financial statements) but may also include the collection, classification and summarization of other financial information. We have expert team of professionals to handle the compilation engagement of financial statements.
